Hello! My name is Lisa and I’m the owner of Liberty Cottage Design. I hand make patriotic and Christian inspired jewelry. I’m so grateful to be a part of this community, where God is center, and Christian makers and entrepreneurs are given a platform to show our God given gifts.
Some fun tidbits about me…
I just wanted to start off by introducing a little about myself. I’m a wife, step mom and dog mom (to a spunky Bouvier des Flandres). I live in beautiful San Diego and was born and raised here. I’m the youngest of 7 children and I’m grateful to have been raised in a large family. Jewelry making is my main creative outlet, but I love to read (World War II fiction), bake, watch Padres baseball and watch my dog attempt to “hunt” lizards in our backyard (she has never caught one, lol).
Idea behind Liberty Cottage Design
I started Liberty Cottage Design a few years ago during the pandemic. I had always loved to make jewelry, but I had an interest in working with precious metals. I purchased some materials, and watched tons of videos, and at first, I had a huge pile of scraps. I wasn’t sure what I wanted my “theme” to be, as the jewelry market can be very saturated. I started to think about the question, “what is important to me?”. I saw myself as Christian (my whole life) but I was also a
very patriotic person. I love America, the constitution, and so very grateful for veterans who have served and made the ultimate sacrifice. The ideas started to weave together, and God, family and country just resonated so much with me. I finally had my theme! The first necklace I made was a 1776 pendant along with a few others and was not sure how that would sell. At the time, no one else had a 1776 pendant on the market that I could find. As sales slowly started to come in, and I added more designs, the most purchased was 1776 and continues to be a best seller.

All my designs were created for those who love God, family, and country. You will find a mix of Christian inspired jewelry and patriotic themes.
