For as long as I can remember, I've enjoyed selling things. As a little girl, I remember spending hours playing "store" with my toy cash register filled with plastic coins and pretend dollar bills. My little sister and I would get up early on Saturday mornings and "ring up" all the food in the cabinets. Remember when every food item had a price sticker? There was just something exciting about pressing those buttons and hearing the "cha-ching" sound that made my heart happy.
As a stay-at-home mom for the last 20+ years, I worked a few direct sales positions just to have some adult interaction. I quickly realized how much I loved it. My longest tenure was 8+ years with one of the best direct sales companies in the US. I was in the top 3% of the company and earned several free trips along the way. I eventually grew weary of the constant striving and goals set before me by the company. I had a strong desire to start my "own thing". I began by learning to create fashion jewelry from my home. One of my first products (and still the most popular) are my stud earrings. They are so much fun to create! I love to offer affordable yet personal jewelry items for those looking for a gift from the heart!
While I still love the sound of cha-ching after all these years, truly the best part is all the wonderful people I meet every day through my business. Meeting new friends and preparing packages to send for celebrations and holidays brings so much joy and fulfillment to my heart. Speaking of which, is where my shop name comes from: Hartfelt Gift Shop. And when your last name is Hartman, it just all fits together like it was part of God's plan all along.
