Today, I turn 40.
I had big plans for a collection release to mark the milestone—at least, I did in my head.
If you’ve noticed I haven’t been as active with my Prayer Art Collections on social media lately, it’s because I’ve been quietly creating each month for the members of my Intercessor Circle—a series of deeply personal prayer art pieces, new jewelry, and stories I’ve never shared publicly.
But this past month… it’s been a lot.
It’s felt like both a marathon and a sprint. I’ve hit walls. I’ve cried quiet tears.
I’m heartbroken, I’m weary.
But I’m also grateful.
And I still know, with every thread of my being, that God is working something good.
Still, I’m tired.
As much as I want to show you everything I’ve been dreaming up… I just can’t right now.
While packaging up the final June boxes for the Intercessor Circle, I reread the prayer that inspired this month’s collection. It’s called “Slow and Steady” and in that quiet moment, I heard God whisper:
“It doesn’t have to be this hard. You don’t have to do it all. Just let Me.”
So I’m letting go of perfection.
I’m letting go of the need to release this collection just so.
And I’m handing over the reins to the One who knows exactly where this work belongs.
I’m packaging up 40 Grab Bags—each one a surprise, each one a blessing in its own way.
Inside each bag, you’ll find:
• 3 pieces of jewelry (at least one made with original prayer art, and two mixed-metal pieces—could be necklaces, bracelets, earrings, or rings)
• Prayer cards from recent releases
• Surprise art prints from my collections
Every time I’ve done something like this, people write me back in awe—telling me how exactly right their box was. That’s not me. That’s God. I’m just the vessel.
